Who We Are

Before Iris existed, our CEO Drew Fallon was the COO and CFO of Mad Rabbit, a fast-growing CPG brand selling across Shopify, Amazon, and retail. Every month, the same cycle repeated: wait two weeks after month-end for the books to close, reconcile revenue from five different platforms in a spreadsheet, and try to make forward-looking decisions using numbers that were already stale.

The tools available were either too generic (QuickBooks, spreadsheets), too expensive (enterprise ERPs), or too shallow (Shopify profit trackers). Nothing was built specifically for CPG brands that needed real-time P&L visibility, cash flow forecasting, and margin analysis across every SKU and channel without hiring a team of data engineers.

So we built it.

Iris launched in mid-2024 and within its first year onboarded hundreds of CPG brands, reached seven figures in ARR, and raised $6.2M in seed funding to keep building. Today, Iris replaces the patchwork of ETL pipelines, data warehouses, BI dashboards, and planning spreadsheets that most consumer brands still depend on with one AI-native platform that connects in minutes and delivers financial clarity from day one.

Drew founded Iris after living the pain of financial planning firsthand as COO and CFO of Mad Rabbit, a fast-growing CPG brand selling across Shopify, Amazon, and retail. Every month, the same broken cycle: wait for the books to close, reconcile five platforms in a spreadsheet, and make decisions with stale numbers. Frustrated by tools that were either too generic or too expensive, he set out to build the financial platform CPG operators actually need. Today, Drew is driven by helping brands scale with clarity, confidence, and real-time financial insight.

He quickly stood out as one of the most thoughtful CFOs Alex had worked with, and Drew's passion for helping brands win through better financial tools was contagious. Before Iris, Alex was on the founding team of Clean.io, a cybersecurity company serving the Fortune 100 that was acquired by HUMAN in 2022. What started as shared frustration with spreadsheets and bad systems turned into a shared mission and eventually, Iris Finance.

Marko joined Iris to tackle technically challenging problems alongside people he trusted. Before Iris, he built platforms for highly sensitive federal government applications - experience that now powers the security and infrastructure behind Iris DB, the company's proprietary CPG data platform. Drawn to a space long overdue for better tooling, he saw Iris as an opportunity to build technology that could genuinely change how brands operate and is often fueled by late nights, obscene amounts of caffeine, and a love for building with friends.
