The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our small but mighty marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of content and operations, where your primary responsibility will be supporting our founder's content engine, which is one of our most important demand generation levers.

You'll help turn ideas, conversations, and expertise into polished content that reaches and resonates with our target audience.

You'll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the founder day-to-day. This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to learn what modern B2B marketing looks like at an early-stage fintech company.

What You’ll Do

Founder Content Support (primary focus)

• Own the end-to-end content production workflow for the founder. From capturing raw ideas and call recordings to delivering publish-ready posts, threads, and short-form videos.

• Research topics, trends, and audience conversations to help generate fresh content angles aligned with our ICP.

• Assist in drafting, editing, and refining social media posts, newsletters, and other written content in the founder's voice.

• Repurpose long-form content (podcast appearances, webinars, interviews) into bite-sized distribution formats.

• Track content performance and surface insights to continuously improve reach and engagement.

• Coordinate scheduling and publishing cadence to maintain a consistent content calendar.

Content Calendar & Social

• Own and maintain the marketing content calendar, coordinating publishing schedules across channels to keep everything consistent and on-cadence.

• Manage Iris’s organic social media presence. Drafting posts, scheduling, and maintaining a regular publishing rhythm across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.

• Handle light community engagement: responding to comments, monitoring brand mentions, and flagging notable conversations to the team.

Email & Newsletter

• Assist with drafting and producing our email newsletter, including copywriting, layout, and scheduling in our email platform.

• Manage list hygiene, segmentation, and basic performance reporting (open rates, click through, conversions).

• Support A/B testing on subject lines and CTAs to optimize engagement over time.

Who You Are

• 1+ years of experience in marketing, content, communications, or a related field - internships count.

• Excellent writer. You write clearly, concisely, and can adapt your voice to match someone else's.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented. You thrive managing multiple tasks and deadlines without dropping the ball.

• Curious about fintech, DTC, and the world of consumer brands.

• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can shift quickly.

• Proactive and self-directed. You don't wait to be told what to do next.

• Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn, HubSpot, Notion, or email platforms.
