📍 This position is located in Chicago, IL, where our CEO sits.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations and Finance:
Design and implement efficient operational processes, including compliance management and finance processes such as Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
Manage the company budget, reporting, and compliance
Oversee interactions with external parties, including recruiters and vendors, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Continuously assess and refine operational systems for scalability as the company grows.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Drive the annual and quarterly strategic planning process (e.g., OKRs), ensuring alignment across all departments with the company's growth goals.
Track and report on key business metrics and strategic initiatives to the CEO and leadership team.
Act as a strategic and operational problem solver for urgent and critical business initiatives.
Investor Relations & Reporting:
Manage investor communications and relationships to share the company’s vision, strategy, and progress.
Assist in preparing pitch materials and coordinate data follow-ups with investors and other stakeholders.
Internal Communication & Culture:
Manage the cadence and content of internal communications, including All-Hands meetings and executive team offsites, to maintain transparency and cohesion across the organization.
Partner with the CEO to reinforce and scale the company's culture, focusing on team wellbeing and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in tier 1 technology banking, growth equity, or experience in a startup or high-growth environment, ideally with a background in AI, technology, or CPG / ecommerce
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute cross-functional projects.
Financial proficiency; comfort with typical software metrics for an early-stage company.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive cultural initiatives within an organization.
A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
